Salary: £25,000-£30,000 per annum (pro rate for reduced / school hours)

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive, organised, and commercially minded Sales Coordinator / Sales Administrator to work at the heart of our sales operation. This role acts as a critical link between Sales, Service, and Operations, ensuring opportunities are progressed smoothly from initial enquiry through to quotation, booking, delivery, and aftersales support. This is a varied position that combines sales coordination with wider business support, project administration, and compliance activity, offering clear scope for development into a more customer-facing or sales-led role

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Co-ordination

  • Support the sales team across the full range of company products and services, including cleanrooms and controlled environments, containment and laboratory solutions, LEV and HVAC systems, and testing, validation, servicing, and compliance works.
  • Prepare accurate, professional quotations and supporting documentation.
  • Proactively follow up customer enquiries and quotations.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of live opportunities, orders, and customer communications.
  • Support strong customer relationships through clear, confident, and timely communication.
  • Act as a central communication point between Sales, Service, and Operations and ensuring a smooth handover from sales to delivery.

Business Operations & Administration

  • Support day-to-day office and administrative operations to ensure a productive working environment.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve administrative processes and systems.
  • Support procurement activities and liaise with suppliers where required.
  • Maintain company documentation, including contracts, sales records, and compliance documentation.

Project & Operational Support 

  • Provide administrative support to project and service teams.
  • Track key milestones and support preparation of internal reports.

Quality, Environmental & Health and Safety Support 

  • Support the maintenance of quality management systems in line with ISO 9001.
  • Assist with document control, SOPs, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Support environmental compliance aligned with ISO 14001, including basic recordkeeping and sustainability initiatives.
  • Support office-based health and safety compliance, including risk assessments, incident reporting, and liaison with the HSE team

People, Compliance & Reporting 

  • Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team culture.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records for audits and reporting purposes.
  • Assist with preparation of reports and information for senior management.

Required Skills and Experience

Essential qualities

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • A team player who enjoys working closely with others

Desirable Qualities (but not essential)

  • Experience in a sales support, coordination, or office administration role preferred
  • Experience working within technical, engineering, HVAC, or compliance-led environments desirable.
  • Ambition to grow into a sales or customer-facing role over time
